In speaking with Chris Barrett on the telephone, they are offering to purchase the Boeing with the following terms; $300,000 down payment $300,000 per month for 12 months They pay Maintenance, Insurance, Crew, etc. Aircraft based in London and will be flying back and forth to the far-east. They claim to have a team in the US, and are ready to perform very quick. Richard, provided that we could come to mutually agreeable terms with this client, can you provide us with a snap shot as to the best way to structure this deal in order to best protect Jeffrey's interest until it is paid off? (eg, transfer of title, insurance coverage, etc.) With respect to Mr Diaz, I just connected with Elias who spoke with Mr Diaz this morning. Elias suggested an offer to split in the middle and Diaz said "NO, it is not worth that". Then Elias suggested he offer 2,250,000...Diaz paused a bit and then said he knows he needs to raise his offer one last time, but was not sure what he was willing to do and wanted to think through it further today. I asked if Elias would be comfortable allowing the principles to speak directly. He said, he is not sure how Mr Diaz would feel about that ‘at this point’ but Elias said he would personally be ok with it, "once the commission agreement had been signed by a representative of JEGE". I reassured him again that the commission agreement was not an issue and that I was authorized to sign it. I can tell you this though, it remains a concern for him. I do not feel he is delaying the negotiation in any way, but I am certain he is worried about it, and I am certain it will prevent him from allowing any of us to speak directly to Mr. Diaz until it is worked out. Obviously, we will continue to work both, but we need to respond to the finance offer more imminently.
