These discussions are edited to help the general public understand the scientific concepts being discussed and are published for free on the web every month. Our show, the first of its kind, has been backed by many prominent scientists and we now have 30 days to fund a $25,000 Kickstarter campaign at http://kickstarter.neuro.tv The objective of NEURO.tv, a registered non-profit, is to remove the barrier between academia and the general public, by communicating fascinating aspects of neuroscience while giving both novice and experienced scientists the opportunity to learn how to frame their cutting-edge research in a way that is accessible for everyone. The webseries is currently published on the BrainFacts.org blog (an initiative supported by the Society for Neuroscience, Kavli Foundation and Gatsby Foundation), iTunes, YouTube and our official website, http://neuro.tv. We have already received numerous praise from distinguished scientists, including those who have been or will be featured on on our show. We will also be premiering the campaign during our founder Jean-Francois Gariepy's invited keynote address for Brain Awareness Week at Neuroscience 2013, in San Diego. We are still looking for a main institution or foundation to sponsor the project, and any donation you may be able to give to our Kickstarter campaign would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact us at diana@neuro.tv or jf@neuro.ty if you require further information. Thank you for considering our request and giving your time. Your contribution to the campaign will mean very much to us. People appearing in the Kickstarter campaign: Nicholas C.
