71° Street Sonos Layout 71° Street has e pre existing Whole House Audio System already in place. It is my understanding that its consisted of 12 separate zones. Each zone was controlled via an IR remote control. The remote changed and controlled Volume and which source we wanted to listen to. If we eliminate all other sources other than Sonos Zone units we would have the ability to control the Sonos via Apple devices or a Sonos CR200 controller, anywhere in the residence that there is Wi-Fi, now eliminating the need for the IR remote controls. The simplest way of converting of the existing system would be to replace each existing A/D/S R4 Zone unit with a Sonos ZP120 self amplified units For the zones that are being powered by the upgraded Bryston Amplifiers or zones that we would like to add upgraded amplification to, we could utilize a ZX90 zone player that does not have any built in amplifiers This will give you the ability to turn on and operate any individual zone and control it from any Apple device or Sonos CR200 within Wi-Fi range. If the System was to stay the same we would need 12 Zone players. Combined of any combination of ZP120’s and ZX90’s If we can eliminate any of the below listed zones or if any of the zones can be combined to become a Large zone we can eliminate the need for extra Zone players. Keep in mind that when that Zone player is turned on all speakers connected to that zone will be playing at the desired listing level. EFTA00583718
