MRI does demonstrate T1 and T2 sagittal and T2 axials of the lumbosacral spine. MRI shows normal intravertebral disc at L1-L2. L2-3 shows a disc protrusion larger on the left than right extending towards the subarticular and foramina level. This is on the left side. On the right there is a prominent disc bulge which is extending into the subarticular zone. L3-4 shows a diffuse disc bulge most of which does not impinge on the thecal sac with a mild stenosis. L4-5 shows an anterolisthesis with marked degenerative facet changes left greater than right foraminal stenosis. L5-S1 shows minimal bulge part of which is due to the angle of scanning. IMPRESSION: MRI shows an L2-13 disc protrusion larger on the left and right. L4-L5 shows an anterolisthesis with marked degenerative facet changes greater on the left and right side Thank you for the courtesy of this referral.
