(1 am not certain what letter he is referring to, but | think wrote a letter about not taking a position on where Epstein would be incarcerated, not the length of time.) So, Roy wondered whether we would go away if Epstein took 60-day deal. | explained that | not had substantive discussions with | the case and that all communication regarding the case is being handled by and me. In response to the question of whether there was anything that could “make this go away,” we said that our position is that if Epstein stops the process in Washington "ei in accordance with the terms of the signed agreement, then we will perform pursuant to the agreement. explained that if Epstein pleads to something else or gets sentenced to a lower amount, then we will consider that a breach of our agreement and we will proceed accordingly.
