From: Paul Cassell < , Brad Edwards Subject: Government's Position on Several Pending Issues? Date: Thu, 10 Mar 2011 18:12:12 +0000 Importance: Normal 1. I still haven’t heard back from you on whom | should contact about the status of the OPR investigation. Do you have that contact information for me? 2. Weare still waiting to hear back from you on the Government’s position on the motion to file a unredacted version of our pleadings. What is your position? 3. Weill still haven’t heard back from Mr. i in answer to our letter regarding whether the U.S. Attorney's Office wants to reach a resolution of the case. When can we expect an answer? We are in full drafting mode now, to be certain of filing on March 18. We are quickly reaching the point of no return — when can we expect an answer? 4. Similarly, even if the U.S. Attorney's Office is going to oppose us on our motion, what is the U.S. Attorney’s Office position on whether it will suppress evidence in this case? We haven't heard back from Mr. J on this. We want to know whether we will need to file a motion on March 18 on this subject as well, or whether we can work this out without the need for court intervention. Thanks in advance for giving us this information. Paul Cassell, Co-Counsel for Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2 Paul G. Cassell Ronald N.
