During the course of this investigation, | was informed of an issue regarding certain electronic evidence that needed to be reviewed immediately pursuant to a court ordered mandate. Given the significant attention this case had drawn in the media, it was vital to quickly and effectively rectify this problem. Operating under a court imposed deadline, | first sought to immediately flex personnel directly underneath me to work the problem. Once these employees were engaged, | then sought to obtain more assistance by recruiting personnel from across several branches of the NYO to be deployed to help. This required me to hold numerous meetings with executive management across these different branches to gain their consent for the usage of their personnel. Once | obtained their approval, | ensured all staff were aware of their respective roles and actively engaged on the review by providing detailed instructions. As the project progressed, | provided continuous status updates to both FBI management as well as management at the USAO. Based on my ability to swiftly and efficiently develop a plan and fully execute it, | was able to ensure that this evidence review was completed on time with no impact on the larger case much to the appreciation of FBI management.
