And so, this is just the first email that we found was, this was froma FI i. a. from the U.S. Marshal Service. like - | | assuming all i. as well as yourself. subject, “Transfer of Prisoners from NYM to Mm-hmm. And then, it says, the GO.” What is GO? MS. a: It’s like a private prison that the Marshals transfer the inmates to when they can't be housed in the BOP. MR. a : Okay. And it says, date, Thursday, August 8, 2019 -- oo And this was to, it looks EFTA00117132

And this one was subject, “Prisoner 8 Production On 8/9/2019,” and the date was 9 Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at 3:36 .. was 20 the email. And one of the attachments was NYM. 21 Is 22 Yes. 23 MR. a : All right. Great. And 24 the second, the first two people are the same 25 two people that were listed on this other EFTA00117133

So, by looking at 10 this stuff, does this now let you know what was 11 entered pre-removed and why? 2 MS. a: Yes. That he was being 3 officially removed out of the institution, 4 going to another destination. 15 MR. a : Okay. So, was he ever 16 going to court, based on that? 7 MS. a: No. He was going to be 8 transferred to another prison. 9 MR. Ee : Okay. And what would the SHU, what would they receive? MS. a: They receive a print out of the call out, of whatever this is. This here is people’s report (Indiscernible *00:08:22), they print out (Indiscernible *00:08:23) from Sentry. MR. a : So, they get a print out of the actual document? MS. a: Not this document. A Sentry devised document. MR. QJ: Okay. MS. QJ: 9 we put their names in the Sentry computer system. And they would do the counts, and assignments, and do the - yeah - the counts. The call outs. If somebody was on suicide watch, and they had a companion swap out to come out to a work detail, they would take that companion off, put that new companion on, while food service came and they would key in the food service workers that would be off the housing unit, but at that time, we only have -. If we had anybody, it would be him. MR. a : Okay. MS. a: Yes. Yes. MR. a: So - and you probably EFTA00117143

Does that mean that the officer was responsible for - or to make sure that the control was aware that inmate was being moved? MS. a : Well, whenever an inmate is leaving your housing unit, going off your unit completely, you should be notifying control, and verifying your base count and your unit count. So, that’s what you should be doing. MR. QJ: Well, what about in this case? If the person was actually in visiting, and the reason why he got the shot was because the person that was visiting him provided him contraband. From there, they took him -. MS. a: Well, the unit officer might necessarily know that, because somebody would have to tell that unit officer this person is 26 EFTA00117150

MR. a : Well, let’s say, in this case, for instance, it was. It was actually the person who found him was the OIC of the SHU, he’s the one who saw what happened, and -- MS. J: 9 n-hon. MR. a : -- actually is the one who placed him onto the dry cell, and is the one that wrote up the shot. MS. aa: Oh, okay. Well then, he should have just ben notifying control he’s going to dry cell. If it was dry cell within the SHU, then he doesn't -- MR. Ee : It was dry cell in i. MS. a: -- right, but if it was in SHU, he wouldn’t have to notify nobody because it’s in SHU. MR. GJ: Right. MS. a: He would just make the bed assignment change, but because he actually physically left the unit, he should have been notifying the control center, I got one being moved from SHU down to | | for dry cell. You might call them and say, hey, do you have keys, so and so?
